A brave soul – along with a supportive sister – journeyed to our park not just to observe and report, but to participate and experience. She uncovered and we ended up on the cover of The Charleston City Paper!

Please bring a float if you have one, some extras will be available.
The organized float will begin at 2:00pm (creek time) but arrive early to get details on the group photo. Pictures may be used on this site (backs only) or sent to AANR (fronts/backs). A PHOTO RELEASE MUST BE SIGNED IF YOU WISH TO BE INCLUDED IN EITHER/BOTH PICTURES. Arrangements will be made for those that do NOT want in picture but still want to float.

On Sunday, May 1st Cedar Creek opened back up to the public and we look forward to meeting new and returning visitors!
A lot of work went into the last week of April to get the park ready. There is still work to be done and we appreciate everyone’s understanding throughout this process. As of yet, the outdoor pool and hot tub are still closed. We hope to have the outdoor pool open in the coming week <Edit: The outdoor pool is open!>. The outdoor hot tub will be closed until at least the middle of June.
The indoor pool and hot tub are up, running, and in use. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SHOWER BEFORE USING! Body oils, sweat, sunscreen & bug spray, etc. make a huge impact on the effectiveness of the sanitizing chlorine. There’s an article in The Bulletin available to read if any are interested…
Speaking of sanitary, please make sure you are carrying and sitting on your own towel.
New or old, young and bold… come out to see why we love it here at The Creek.
Please e-mail email@example.com to be put on the mailing list.
How exciting it is for the opening days;
This month has flown by in a bit of a haze!
Looking forward to sunshine and laughter and fun
Managing to relax (after my work is all done).
So there’s stuff to remember, and some stuff to learn…
We know if it’s windy, no fire should burn.
And don’t bring the chairs from the in to the out –
(It dirties the floor and scratches the grout).
Got an RV on a site down below? Your vehicles but
NO OTHERS past the office should go.
Even your friends that came out to see you
Still have to park where all other visitors do too.
Some pups have been acting like they own the park –
No leashes? Hope their bite is not worse than their bark!
On the walks to the creek and the neighbors so dear,
Keep our furry kids safe and allowed to be here.
On keeping your drinks nice and cold, ain’t it nice
The account is set up… we WILL sell you ICE!**
We’re sorry to say we’re not set up yet for food,
But we do have some menus of delivery that’s good.
Speaking of drinks – not in hot tub or pool –
Sorry, but fixing the pH just ain’t cool!
Four feet away or up on a table,
You can wait for a sip… we know you are able.
We love being naked! We love being nude!
We don’t want to be mean! We don’t want to be rude!
Just follow the guidelines, respect our few rules
We can stay HAPPY, CLOTHING-FREE FOOLS!
Oh yeah, and NO GLASS (but you knew that already)
Unfortunately, Cedar Creek was unable to host its Annual 5K run this year but looks forward to planning one for 2017.
In the meantime we encourage you to support another park in our state, Carolina Foothills
——————–> JUNE 11th BUCK CREEK STREAK 5K RUN AND WALK <——————–
Carolina Foothill’s second annual 5K race will take place on the shady
grounds of the resort that manages eighty acres of forest and land
divided by Buck Creek.
Experienced runners have mapped a trail of 3.1 miles so 40-50
participants can competitively run or walk within the private gated
community. Register online at http://www.buckcreekstreak.com/. Pre-register
for $25 or pay $30 on the day of the race.
You can also register by calling the CFR office, 864-461-2731.
“We are opening our resort to support all the surrounding communities in
finding a safe place to exercise whether it’s running, hiking or walking
a dog,” explained Georgie Rhein, one of the 5K Committee members.
Details of the 5K are posted on CFR’s website: www.carolinafoothills.com
Come join us for a day of activities!
